How to setup and use TestFlight to test a pre-release iOS app.

  1. TestFlight requires IOS 8 or later. If you are on an earlier version it will not work.
  2. On your IOS device go to the AppStore
  3. Search for TestFlight
  4. Install the App
  5. Sign in using your Apple ID (The one you use in the App Store)

    6. At this point TestFlight is setup.

    Any test apps available to you will be listed for installation.

  6. To accept an invitation to test an app click the link in the email you receive from the app developer. This email will not come from MyCrowd, but from the customer who is having the app published.

    Note: If you have a browser other than Safari set as your default browser then copy the link instead of clicking it. Paste the link into the URL bar in Safari and it will take you to TestFlight.

  7. Once you have accepted an invitation follow the instructions to install the app.
  8. After the app is installed review the test instructions in MyCrowd and start testing.
